What is Aiko?
Aiko is a cross-platform desktop application designed for anime enthusiasts. It allows you to manage your watchlists from Anilist and MyAnimeList, stay updated with the latest anime news, and stream anime through a self-hosted API.
Is Aiko free to use?
Yes, Aiko is completely free and open-source. You can download and use it without any cost.
Which platforms does Aiko support?
Aiko is available for Windows and Linux. We provide installers for all these platforms on our GitHub releases page.
How do I connect my Anilist or MyAnimeList account?
After installing Aiko, go to the Settings section and select the "Accounts" tab. From there, you can connect your Anilist or MyAnimeList account by following the authentication process.
Is streaming anime through Aiko legal?
Aiko itself is legal software. However, the legality of streaming content depends on your country's copyright laws and the sources you connect to. We recommend using Aiko with legal streaming sources and respecting copyright laws in your region.
How do I report bugs or request features?
You can report bugs or request features by opening an issue on our GitHub repository. Please provide as much detail as possible to help us understand and address your concerns. OR you can use the discord (might be faster for me to see)
How can I contribute to Aiko?
Until the v2.0 is released with all my desired base features I probably won't care for contributions all too much. After v2.0 is released you can just follow the guide on the GitHub sub page!
